The Most Attractive Person In The World: This really can't be answered as I do not know everyone in the world. I believe attraction comes from within. This ole shell will come and go but what a person remembers about you is what kind of person you was. Do you say Hello everyday to your coworkers? Do you care when you see that the smile on there faces have disappeared? I think a person who helps another without being asked is the most attractive person in the world.

| Lady Interviews DORRIE |
LADY: Where did you get your caring heart? DORRIE: God, My mother, My family.
LADY: Who modeled caring for you and has been your greatest inspiration for life? DORRIE: My Mother, My previous father in law. He was a gentle caring soul. I loved him greatly.
LADY: What is your life mission? DORRIE: To inspire women. To free women from domestic abuse. That is an endless battle.
LADY: What is that thing greater than yourself that you are committed to?
DORRIE: My children. Their lives and what they do with the gifts god has given them. |
| | LIVE and LET LIVE! | LADY: What do you sense is the greatest need among people where you live and people across the Planet Earth?
DORRIE: Hope. They lack Hope. LADY: If you had the power to change three things going on in the world right now, what would you change and why? DORRIE: War. What is it good for? Absolutely nothing. War in the middle east. It is senseless and we all know it will continue until the end of time. I don't believe God likes war, tho the bible talks of many wars, some of the reasons we fight can never be fixed. LADY: What is your sense of the why of the conflicts between adult women and men, people of different ethnic groups, people of different economic groups, or just people of different social or gender preferences? DORRIE: There is a lack of respect that crosses all lines of ethnic differences, genders. People do not know how to just let others be themselves. So what if you think they are weird, they are happy leave them alone. I think it makes a wonderful, colorful world because we are all different from one another. "live and let live". LADY: Who is your current greatest living influence and why? DORRIE: My oldest daughter. She is 23 and we have struggled here together by ourselves. She at times has become the mother holding me and wiping my tears away when I didn't think I couldn't put a foot in front of the other because I was emotionally drained. SHe lifts me up. |
| TO BE GLUE! | LADY: What are your recommendations for families with children?
DORRIE: TO be glue. There was 8 kids in our family at times when I was a child, we would go to the ball park and play ball every weekend. We was our own team. A family must work as a unit. When someone has an event, family needs to be there. Someone needs to be there when that child turns around to find a face they know. RESPECT, LOVE, KINDNESS. LADY: How do you process all the human violence and natural disasters taking place all over the world? DORRIE: I don't process it. I give it to God. I am too small to handle it. I have to believe he Is the man to handle it. LADY: What are you living for? What do you hope for yourself, your family, your community, and for humanity? DORRIE: I do not know what my purpose is, I wish I did. I hope my Children find happiness. I hope humanity finds compassion. I hope our community can heal from racism, hate. I have Never lived In the south and when I came here I seen a world I never thought existed except in books. Racism is alive and well in the south, but not just one way, it goes both ways. I am not sure it will ever heal. I truely hope it does, Maybe we all need to be blind? Then we would need each other and wouldnt see color? LADY: What is your sense of what the future holds? DORRIE: Wow, The older I get the more I realize what a mess we have. There has been so much progress tho for womens rights, for children, Health care, retirement. I think If we all followed the golden rules, that life would come together. It all really comes back to truth, respect, Love. It has to be taught and then the generations would come up with that, therefore improving everything we do. I just don't know what the future hold, Let god take the wheel. |
