| Maria's Introduction |
Welcome. I'm happy to share with you a part of my life. I'm Maria; from Manila, Philippines. Photography is my passion as well as art. I love to sing and explore beautiful places. As a person I am sensitive, always love to teach and be thoughtful. I am hardworking, creative and always have deep thoughts. As a friend, just call my name and I'll be there. lol Oh well, it's a song. I am turning 47 this February. I'm single but blessed with great sweet nieces and nephews which I fondly called "My love by the dozens (12 of them)." It's very rewarding to see from them how we were during our childhood days, so just imagine when ever there's an event like Christmas they were all here. I'm like a Buddha. Everyone of them wants to be at my side. On my free time, I spend browsing on my websites or sometimes chat with friends. The Internet is incredible. I get to meet long lost friends from high school and its fun reminiscing the good ol'days. I also love to post BLOGS and allow me to share with you some of my favorites.
THE BEST APPLE Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just take the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy to pickup. The apples at the top, think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along; the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree!

Happy Mother's Day with Love LADY: Where did you get your caring heart? MARIA: Iam entrusted by God to the cradle of my very caring parents.
LADY: Who modeled caring for you and has been your greatest inspiration for life?
MARIA: I find this question very interesting. You know Mr. "O" mothers serves as the best inspiration for their children. Education too is a big factor of who we become. The people whom we get to know by chance to share their wisdom and from there I get my inspiration.
LADY: What is your life mission?
MARIA: To be of help to those who need my friendship, it may not be in form of financial but simple things like being a friend who would always be there for a friend.
LADY: What is that thing greater than yourself that you are committed to? MARIA: There is no greater than to love God and follow His commandments.
LADY: What do you sense is the greatest need among people where you live and people across the Planet Earth?
MARIA: I would start from the leader of my country - An Honest and a Sincere heart for her leadership away from greed for power and the people need to be supportive on whoever is in the position. We should not be argumentative at this point in time. It's been too long that our nation is left behind, but if we work hand in hand with the leader we can make our country more progressive. This will serve all people on earth.
LADY: If you had the power to change three things going on in the world right now, what would you change and why?
MARIA: CHANGE OF HEART I would start with a FORGIVING HEART away from hatred and violence because the world that we are living is not ours to conquer. God created this place for every one of us to benefit a good life. Second, FRIENDLY HEART- as saying goes "no man is an island" you can never live alone by yourself. We may be in different culture. We have different views and beliefs but if we have respect through friendship, there would be no wars and we could be as one to progress. Third, HEART FOR GOD - God constantly uses the lives of Bible characters to teach us, to encourage us, to warn us. God's training manual is full of lives to inspire us. Romans 15:4 states, "For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope" (emphasis added). This reference to "earlier times" encompasses all the truths written in the Old Testament. And if I read this verse correctly, there are two basic reasons God has allowed us to have the Old Testament available for study and application: first, for present instruction, and second, for future hope. God has given us this information so that our minds can learn the truth about Him and about life, and so that we will be encouraged to persevere in the future.
LADY: What is your sense of the why of the conflicts between adult women and men, people of different ethnic groups, people of different economic groups, or just people of different social or gender preferences?
MARIA: There wouldn't be conflicts if we could just have RESPECT and VALUE EACH PERSON'S DIFFERENCES, just a little stress on this - in my humble opinion, men and women are born equal. Let us not forget that God's fashioned women from the very delicate part of a man which is the rib that protect his heart and lungs. We were not taken from the feet to be under him, nor the head to be above him but on their side, for us to stand beside him as we both represent the totality of God. (taken from God's letter to a Woman)
LADY: Who is your current greatest living influence and why?
MARIA: Got it from the people who inspire me, simply because they've been there and I am just on my way.
LADY: What are your recommendations for families with children?
MARIA: I just want to share how we are as a family. During our growing up days we had all the love and care from our parents. They never raised their voice at us, nor we at them. If ever there was an untoward behavior among siblings a certain punishment is meant for us, as my parents instill in our hearts to have love and respect among siblings and now that we are grown ups that love and respect is still in our hearts. That's why we have so much respect most especially to elderly.
LADY: How do you process all the human violence and natural disasters taking place all over the world?
MARIA: It really saddened me and we cannot be very judgmental on the issue of human violence, what is happening to some people is really out of control; where is love, where is morality, where is respect. Maybe somehow, if we could only put God in the center of every relationship, violence will never happen. As for natural disaster; we have to examine ourselves on why are these bad things happening. We are living in a world that is provided by God and we have to respect and love everything that is given to us and let us not wait for the time that everything we got has to be taken away from us. Repent from sins. Whatever is the situation that is happening right now, no matter how bad things that we encounter from human violence and natural disasters, there is still a supernatural strength of P-R-A-Y-E-R. It is our hope.
LADY: What are you living for? What do you hope for yourself, your family, your community, and for humanity?
MARIA: Life is like a movie: written and produced by God and played by your part. It's a one take movie so play your part as if it is your last take, it doesn't have any cuts. You will see it with its painful and happy moments and unbelievable footages. So take a step backward and look at the whole scene. At the end of it, you will be the one watching it, so make sure you'll do your part BEST to make it a blockbuster. LADY: What is your sense of what the future holds? MARIA: The past is gone. The future has not arrived. We never shall have any time but time present. Then do not wait until your experience has ripened into maturity before you attempt the things you want to do. Live life to the fullest by doing good deeds not for yourself alone but to everyone. |
